As a member of the Staples Executive Committee, Demos led development on all enterprise short term and 3 to 5-year strategic plans, as well as retail/e-commerce transformation plan to include: building flexible, higher profit store formats; creating new services through internal innovation and acquisitions; launching new categories, and investing in novel marketing, merchandising, and customer service programs.

As a skilled and strategic leader, Demos integrated the retail and e-commerce groups into a powerful Omni organization. He directed “Centers of Excellence” to support all business units in the areas of e-commerce, Merchandising, Services, and Real Estate, and drove numerous cost-cutting initiatives. Demos has a deep experience with Wall Street analyst communications; personally handling media events; and establishing mutually productive, top to top relationships with vendor partners.
